This assignment will take on the form of a 1250 word essay investigating how biomechanical factors can influence the overall performance of a certain skill or movement for your chosen sport.
Use the deterministic model that you have created in class to help decide which two or three factors you wish to focus your assignment on.
The essay should include:
1. Introduction:
This section should provide a very brief rationale that explains the factors that you will focus your assignment on. This should be evidence that is evidence based (research from journal articles) which explains why the biomechanical factor(s)
2. Discussion:
This section should include information on how these factors can be improved including interventions that can bring about these improvements. This information needs to be evidence based (references from scientific journals) and you need to use critical analysis (show two sides of the argument using different research).
The discussion is one section; however the marking rubric is split into two for the discussion section. Please see the marking rubric below for this.

You need to provide a very brief conclusion summarise the main points from your discussion.
4. References
The referencing should adhere to the university referencing guidelines (Harvard) with the reference list at the back of the document (not a separate list for each section).
