Lab Requirements: Abstract three of your ten articles. These are separate documents. Do not blend them together. Be sure the articles you select to abstract are at least 3 pages in length. Each will have the following:

a citation title
first sentence of summary is the main idea for the whole article
key points of summary must be in 3rd person, quoting from the article is not required or recommended
end must include your scholarly opinion in 1st person
abstract must be in MLA style
abstract must be 1 ½ – 2 pages in length
the article must come from Collin’s databases
abstract must have the article attached
***Please save the article you do the abstract on in Jstor so I can print it off for the abstracts.
