To what extent should we consider Newton’s scientific work and religious views as part of a coherent project?

Write about Newton’s background, religion and his views, a summary of his notable works, his letters to Richard Bentley, and how his scientific work and religious views are motivated by each other. Also touch upon the time period he lives in, after the Restoration of Monarchy and with rise of Protestanism, how his “radical” religious views are tolerated due to his scientific research.
