TV Criticism- Complex Character

Paper Guidelines: Convince the reader that the character you’ve chosen to write about is a complex television character. Explain how this character is complex, may be paradoxical in nature, not a static character, and even what the character signifies in terms of their social context, i.e, why is this character important now? This should be a character in a series that is running now.

*Write about an American show either Morty from Rick and Morty or Eleven in Stranger Things. Whichever you know better and will excel at.*

-Strict 1000 word essay written in magazine article style, single-spaced.(Include the word count at the bottom of the article)
-Please choose a show that is currently running
-Provide background on the series- Audience reception, social context, a (VERY) short synopsis of the story
-Please be sure you’re writing about the Main Character in the series
-Describe character using the concepts we’ve covered in class and the readings.
-Use specific story elements, like situations the character is facing, to support your position.

Also, I’ve copied some links below to TV Review articles by the TV Critic Emily Nussbaum. I’ve provided more articles than what you need to get a sense of the writing style for this assignment but please read what you can.
