Annotated bibliographies are a common part of the research process. They are helpful in two main ways. First, they allow us to organize sources of data or information that centrally focus around a research topic. Second, they give us the opportunity to provide useful summaries of the information sources, acting as a quick way to search for literature that we already read.
The two main ways that they are helpful coincide with the two main parts of an annotated bibliography. The first part is a classic citation. This provided the basic information needed to locate a source of information (i.e. article, book, etc.). The second part is the annotation. The annotation is a paragraph that relates the reference to the current research topic.
To complete the assignment, expand on part 1 and fill out the information below:
Imagine that you are working for a startup company or think tank that is interested in recommending a strategy shift to capitalize on 21st century problems. You have been tasked with the responsibility of identifying a specific 21st century problem as well researching this problem.
Copy over your answers from part 1 of the annotated bibliography. Fix any issues that you had with part 1 and add three more citations and annotations.
