A presentation prepared and presented by your team, partnered with an individual summary of your research and presentation.

You are required to investigate and explain the following:
• Choose one type of tourism in a country of your choice
• Explain the geographic, economic, political and social reasons for its existence.
• Explain some of the positive and negative environmental, social and economic consequences that the chosen tourism has upon the local and global community.
• Based on the findings above, present a sustainable solution to one of the negative consequence highlighted by the group

Assessment format
Group formation:
Groups will be allocated for assessment two by the lecturer in week 8. These groups will consist of approximately 3-4 members.

PART 1: Presentation
Prepare a well-researched presentation as a group. (500 words equivalent or 10-12min in length give or take 1 minute)
Each of the group members should present and answer questions equally. Your presentation must include a visual aid in the form of a Power point or Sway.
Please note: Presentations must also be referenced inclusive of graphics. Refer to our class discussion.

PART 2: Overview essay
Even though you will research, prepare and present your presentation as a group, you will be required to prepare and write your Overview Essay as an individual.
An overview essay is an individual overview of all your group research and findings utilised for the completion of the group presentation (1000 words).

PART 3: Reflection
Self-reflection and group reflection utilising the two templates provided on SharePoint. You are expected to include comments on the dynamics within your group as well as your personal learning outcomes. Both of the reflection templates will be completed in the lecture after the final presentation. No word limits will be imposed.
