Overview:
Student will develop a research paper on a particular architect from the time period between
Prehistory and pre 18th Century (pre 1700s). Students will be expected to research their architect
of choice and discuss topics such as: cultural, socio-economic, and time period influence, a clear
understanding of their work and the impact of that work within the time period it was created and
its continued influence today. Papers will be graded on their understanding of architects work and
influences. A MLA format bibliography and documented quotes and figures is required to show
scholarly sources. Figure (pictures) documentation will be added at end of the paper and proper
reference numbering should be used. The picture pages will not count towards the papers required
length.
