Cell interactions

Part 1 + Part 2 Q1 ONLY
a) Draw and label the fluorescence staining patterns of the cells at 4 ºC and 22 ºC. [5 marks]
b) Describe the staining patterns seen and briefly explain the biological basis of
‘patching’ and ‘capping’ of receptors on the cell surface of lymphocytes, as
seen in the data. [10 marks]
c) Write an abstract summarising this experiment (approx. 200 words) in the style of

EXAMPLE OF NEWS STORY CAN BE FOUND AT https://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/08/140823-iceland-volcano-eruption-science-air-travel/ Using the news story you chose in learning block 1-2 and the natural science topic and supporting evidence you identified, complete the following: Develop two questions that might be of interest to a natural scientist based on the information presented in the news story. As you develop these questions, consider the information presented in the video you viewed about scientific questions. For example, if you were to build off the article on volcano eruption that you reviewed in learning block 1-1, your questions might revolve around predicting volcano eruption or the causes of volcanic eruptions.

In the discussion forum, post your news story title and a link to it, a 1- to 2-sentence summary of your news story (feel free to use the same summary you completed in the learning block 1-2 short answer activity), and your two questions. You can present your information as a mini-presentation, an infographic, a standard discussion post, or any other way you wish. Be creative, if you like!

Explain how Ambrose Bierce tricks the reader into thinking that Farquhar escapes in “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge.” Are individuals susceptible to “against all odds” thinking because we want to think that we can be successful even in hopeless circumstances?

Typed, double-spaced, 12-point font; MLA formatting (see the section in your textbooks for a sample essay in MLA format; see also the Purdue OWLhttp://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/557/01/ (Links to an external site.)). Your works cited page should have an entry for each work you cite. Refer to your text and the Purdue OWL for the format for citing essays, short stories, and poems. Every source you consult and use in your essay–including websites, search results, reference material, material from your textbook, etc.–must have an in-text citation and a works cited entry. Your primary purpose will be to inform, and your secondary purpose will be to persuade. You will be informing your audience about the issues and ideas you are encountering in your coursework for this class, about the social issue, and about the connection. You will be using persuasion to convince the audience that you are an engaged student and citizen. You will do this primarily through the appeal to ethos by establishing your credibility and authority through your mastery of the material.

freedom and the paper is in relation to the argument Socrates gives to Crito and the reading of St. Augustine “on free choice of the will”

the prompt i have chosen is this one:
Outline the argument Socrates gives in the Crito in defense of his decision to stay and accept punishment. In what way would he be harming himself and others if he fled? Would Augustine agree with Socrates’ decision and his reasons for making it? Explain in detail why or why not. Be sure to include a discussion of Augustine’s distinction between temporal laws, eternal law, and so-called unjust “laws.” Also include a discussion of Augustine’s account of a life of virtue (a life lived with prudence, fortitude, temperance and justice) in pursuit of wisdom. How does Augustine define these virtues? Does Socrates’ decision to stay reflect these virtues? Why or why not?here the format:
-3–5 pages long (12-point font, 1-inch margins, double-spaced)
-You are not required to use secondary sources, but you are welcome to. Use proper citations.
-Include a bibliography and proper citations. Use Stephanus numbers to cite Plato; use page numbers to cite Augustine.
-Writing philosophy resource: http://www.jimpryor.net/teaching/guidelines/writing.html (Links to an external site.)
this format was given to me by the professor and i would like to specify that i do not want to use other sources except the readings we have been following.
the two books needed to write this paper are:
Plato: Five Dialogues: Euthyphro, Apology, Crito, Meno, Phaedo (Hackett Classics by Plato (Author), John M. Cooper (Editor), G. M. A. Grube (Translator)
and
On Free Choice of the Will
by Saint Augustine (Author), Anna S. Benjamin (Translator), L. H. Hackstaff (Translator)
I will copy and paste here a link to a guideline on how to write a philosophy paper that my professor gave to me. If possible, i would like you to follow as reference. –> http://www.jimpryor.net/teaching/guidelines/writing.html#Grammar
I would also like to mention the fact that i am an international student so my vocabulary skill isn’t great. additionally our professor made it clear to write as simply as possible and i know that the way i write is very simple and straight forward. moreover i also have a learning difficulty such as dyslexia so if you could keep it simple to some extent it would be great. the professor is aware of my learning disability since i gave her my documentation.
lastly i would like to mention that this is my first ever philosophy class so i am sort of new to the subject.let me know if you need any other information. also philosophy isn’t my major but in liberals classes such as this one i am an average student
thanks and sorry for the late notice.

The current famine in South Sudan and Nigeria

Some points you can use are Nigeria and south Sudan are cited frequently as four of the world’s current famines. How many
people have died due to famine in either crisis? How are agencies defining famine in each? What are
the methods for estimating nutrition-associated mortality in either? Who is trying?

I attach 2 examples the teacher offer (without bibliography or annotation).

Every paper and presentation will be accompanied by an annotated bibliography. Five of the key references used to support statements made in the research paper should be analyzed in 200–300 words for its methods, its findings, its recommendations, and its generalizability, as appropriate.

For each paper, the grade will be derived from the following:
The annotated bibliography of five references that inform the presentation (35%). The content (accuracy, organization, comprehensibility) (50%). The quality of writing (including proofreading), organization, presentation, and analysis
(for a paper) (15%)
For information on how to prepare an annotated bibliography, consult:
