reflect on team working experience in developing the Project Business Case

recently we submitted as a group a proposal on a project (please see attachments)
the tutor wants three important points to be in the reflection:
-the experience in working with the team and how reflected on me
– MUST be linked to one theory for ex: leadership or management framework (see PowerPoint leadership framework attached)
-key lessons for ex: what weakness found in my self and how to develop in the future. in one of the slides there’s a team role and strengths of each, to say which one I was and talk about another role to develop

we were team of 5 from different backgrounds and countries , different ideas was proposed but I am the one who came up with the idea of the container and everyone agreed to it as it meets the master’s levels. I work for housing association and this is a project we are working on in the company so I asked all the students o send me all questions related to the assignment and I managed to answer / bring information needed once I had the information, work was divided between the others to do the writing and to finalize the assignment.
I agreed from the beginning that my role was only to give them the idea and provide all information needed as I am very busy person I work full time and I have kids and its hard for me to meet, everyone was understanding and happy with what I did.
everyone was motivated and all worked hard.

Rhetorical Analysis

For your assignment, you will use specific evidence from a song and its accompanying music video to establish a thesis about the song’s rhetoric—how the song persuades its listeners and communicates its message. In other words, you will analyze the persuasiveness of this song and video.

FOR THIS PAPER I CHOSE THE SONG MAN IN THE MIRROR by MICHAEL JACKSON.

There is not an official music video for the song my paper is about Man in the mirror so here is a link to the most popular one that I want to use for my paper please watch the video. Please listen to the song and read the direction. Please follow the example and directions exactly. Thank you

Projects

1. Go to Google and find the Advanced Search link. Examine its SafeSearch filtering options. Surf the Web in search of content that could be considered objectionable for children using each of the options. What are the pros and cons of such restrictions? Are there terms that could be considered inappropriate to the software but approved by parents? Name five questionable terms. Prepare a brief presentation to report on your experiences and to explain the positive and negative aspects of such filtering software.

2. Develop a list of privacy protection features that should be present if a website is serious about protecting privacy. Then, visit at least four well-known websites and examine their privacy policies. Write a report that rates each of the websites on the criteria you have developed.

3. Review the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998. Examine each of the major sections of the legislation and make a list of the protections afforded property owners and users of copyrighted material. Do you believe this legislation balances the interests of owners and users appropriately? Do you have suggestions for strengthening “fair use” provisions in this legislation?

4. Visit at least four websites that take a position on e-commerce taxation, beginning with the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL.org) and the National Governor’s Association (NGA.org). You might also include national associations of local businesses or citizen groups opposed to e-commerce taxation. Develop a reasoned argument for, or against, taxation of e-commerce.

Our Care Culture

Care expressed and practiced in professional nursing models provides a way of looking at the nursing role from the aspect of care. It may seem excessive to consider aspects of caring and compassion in nursing. However, precisely because it IS nursing makes it crucial to our continual progress of defining and upholding one of our central professional principles.

Address each of these items:

Reflect on a caring and compassionate experience with a patient or family encountered in your practice. How was your compassion demonstrated? What other ways do you wish you would have expressed caring?

How does your thinking about compassion expand to include self and colleagues?

Bail Affait

POL 230 – Paper 2

You can choose between 1 of the following 2 questions to write your paper on.

Option 1: Plea Bargaining

The hallmark of the criminal justice system is fairness. Some have argued that plea bargaining falls short of this ideal of fairness because it privileges those who are of a higher socioeconomic status. A public defender may urge a person to plea to a lesser charge simply because they do not have the time to devote to a person’s case as they are overworked and underpaid. Conversely, when a person is paying a private attorney they are able to devote much more time to a person’s case and therefore may be less likely to urge a defendant to take a plea. Is this fundamentally unfair or just part of the capitalist system of the United States? As a result should plea bargaining be eliminated for all defendants?

The assignment is to write an argumentative essay either in favor or against eliminating plea bargaining.

Option 2: Bail

Again, the hallmark of the criminal justice system is fairness and some have argued that bail flies in the face of this. The reason: a judge sets bail for 2 defendants at $1000. Defendant A is wealthy and can afford this bail. He is able to spend his time before the trial in the comfort of his own home. Defendant B is not wealthy and cannot raise the necessary money. Consequently, she spends her pre-trial time confined in the local jail. Both were given the same bail but for one defendant she may as well have been given a much higher bail because there was no opportunity for her to raise that amount of money. What is the ultimate purpose of bail and does it violate the fundamental fairness of the criminal justice system? Should bail be eliminated or should different factors go in to determining bail amounts?

Your assignment is to write an argumentative essay either in favor or against eliminating bail.

environmental toxicology of one element

Develop a 15-20 slide PowerPoint presentation on the environmental toxicology of one element. You should be able to research a lot of this material as you work through the homework assignments throughout the session. Select a contaminants only from the list below:
Arsenic (As)
Cadmium (Cd)
Chromium (Cr)
Copper (Cu)
Lead (Pb)
Mercury (Hg)
Nickel (Ni)
Selenium (Se)
Zinc (Zn)
Asbestos
An organic contaminant

This selection of contaminants offers a variety of environmental toxicological effects. Some act as nutrients for humans and other mammals at certain levels, but become toxic at higher levels, whereas others have no nutritional value. Some are highly toxic to aquatic organisms (fish and invertebrates), but less toxic to terrestrial organisms. The toxicity of some of these elements is higher when ingested as particulates as opposed to being consumed through drinking water. Some of these elements bioaccumulate in food webs, eventually making their way to humans. Collectively, these elements have a range of chemical behaviors, e.g., some are insoluble at low pH, whereas others are less soluble at high pH.
You may want to read ahead to the Week 6 (Metals) or Week 7 (Organic Contaminants) assignments depending upon your chosen topic for additional material.

Organization: The presentation should be organized in the style of a scientific presentation. As such, it should have the following sections:

Introduction: Defines the purpose of the presentation. It should also include the high points of the chemical nature of the element (atomic number, valence states, etc.). Also, report what the abundance of the element is in the Earth’s crust and in seawater.

Uses: Describe the uses of the selected element. In addition to course resources, you may also find useful information from the USGS Minerals Information Team (http://minerals.usgs.gov/minerals/index.html). Find details on each element under “Commodities.”

Environmental Guidelines: Summarize environmental guidelines for the elements in drinking water, soil (residential and industrial), stream sediment, and for acute and chronic toxicity to aquatic organisms. Note: there may not be guidelines for all elements in all media.

Pathways of Environmental Impact: Describe pathways that the element can affect humans and aquatic organisms. Are there key chemical transformations that affect the degree of impact? What are they?

Case Study: Describe at least one case study that highlights the environmental toxicology of your element to humans, aquatic organisms, or other wildlife. You CANNOT use any of the examples from class. You must find an example in the scientific literature. I suggest searching for articles through the APUS Library. Also, construct a figure or table to help summarize the main points of your case study.

Conclusion: Summarize your major findings in a slide or two.

References: You must cite all of your sources of information using APA format. Our library has guidance on APA formatting if you need a refresher.
