Breast Cancer

This paper was written before by academiczed, however it has some serious issues with it, I have just received a feedback for it which mentions everything that needs to be fixed in the paper. There are 2 feedback papers and the ones written in red are the levels of this paper. In the recommendation section, specifically for the sociology and psychology section there seem to be some very serious issues. Please have a look at both the sections in the table and the recommendation section. Also I think it would be useful to have a look at the booklet which gives a more clear understanding of the level required for this paper.

3,000 word report applying the bio-psycho-social model to a chronic condition of a chronic disease which in this case is Breast Cancer. The epidemiology of this SSC report is going to be based on North West of England. Please refer to the uploaded file for specific requirement of this paper.

Estimate the Cost of Capital for your Chosen Company wk 7

Assume that the company that you chose for your Week 3 and Week 4 assignments recently fired its chief financial officer (CFO) and you are being considered as a replacement. As part of the interview process, you have been asked to create a dynamic and engaging PowerPoint presentation where you demonstrate how to compute the weighted average cost of capital (WACC) for the company. Include speaker notes on each slide as if you were actually presenting to the company’s board of directors. Alternatively, you can record your voice on the PowerPoint or you can create a complete presentation using a software program such as Camtasia.

Your presentation must provide detailed instructions for computing each component of WACC. Do the best that you can to actually estimate what you believe to be the company’s actual current WACC. Provide justification for all of your estimates. Remember, you want the job and you must “wow” the board with your understanding of WACC!
NOTE: I am ordering this as a paper and will convert it to the powerpoint presentation. Please use the Rubric as a guideline for content creation. I am also attaching a previous paper so you can review the content submitted thus far. However this paper requires a different company.

Ill Gotten Gains

Must be at least 400 words!!

Read Aaron Ridley’s article “Ill-Gotten Gains: On the Use of Results from Unethical Experiments in Medicine” (Public Affairs Quarterly 9, no. 3 [July 1995]). Ridley examines the question of whether to make use of beneficial results that were obtained unethically from medical experiments performed on human beings. While many would probably say that such benefits should not be withheld, Ridley suggests it would be inappropriate to make use of such results. Given his article, address the following questions:

In your own words, explain Ridley’s argument based on utilitarianism and the Ideal Experimenter. According to Ridley, how might the Ideal Experimenter effectively be persuaded to conform to non-utilitarian standards of experimental practices?
In the end, do you think Ridley’s argument succeeds? Suppose some researchers performed experiments on children in which many of them suffered and died, but in the process, the researchers obtained information that could wipe out cancer. Should they use that information?
Ridley presents two reasons for not using the results of unethical experiments that he believes are not effective: respect and condoning. Why does he think these fail? Do you agree with him? If not, give an example in which you think an appeal to respect or condoning would be successful in arguing against the use of such results

FUTURE GOALS AND EXPERIMENTS for a Research Proposal

Instructions for Research Proposal: Future Directives and experiments

Needs to be in Times New Roman, 12 pt. font and MLA format. Must be at least 2 pages. You will need to write about your future goals for your research and future experiments. This does not need to be anywhere near as complex as the last assignment I gave you. Since you are already familiar with the assignment I thought you would be the perfect candidate to finish it off while it is fresh. Discuss the broader impact of your project and findings, this is where you would put in any discussion of translational medicine, for example, you could make a parallel with medicine about how your gene could provide insight/breakthrough in curing or whatever as long as you can justify it.

Writer

Your only limitation is that it still has to be pertaining to the research you did in the last assignment with respect to pos-1 gene and its significance in C. elegans. Let me know if I can provide you with anymore guidance. I am pretty sure this should come pretty easy to you since you have already done the had work from before.

Telling the patients the truth

Must be at least 400 words!!
Read Mack Lipkin’s brief article “On Telling Patients the Truth” (Newsweek, June 4, 1979). He offers a number of justifications for lying to patients in at least some situations. Given what you have learned from the Reading & Study material, address the following questions about Lipkin’s article:

Lipkin offers a number of reasons to justify lying to patients. What are these? Do you think they justify lying, or is there an alternative to lying?
How would you ethically classify Lipkin: Utilitarian? Deontologist? Virtue ethicist? Support your selection.
A nurse with over 20 years’ experience once confided to the instructor that “nurses lie regularly to their patients. They are not usually big lies, just little things. It’s often the only way we can get them to cooperate and do what we need them to do.” Evaluate this claim. Do you agree? Why or why not?

Expert Nurse Witness Debate

Consider what the article by Cohen, Rosen, & Barbacci and the article by Ford say about the role of nurses as expert witnesses. The articles make two distinct points about the matter:

Cohen et al. explain how the judicial system has finally recognized the appropriateness of nurses being expert witnesses for their profession. And
Ford describes the potential for nurses to be expert witnesses for other professions in addition to their own.
Now consider this key question: Should nurses be called upon as expert witnesses for professions other than nursing?

In this discussion, we will debate the answer to this question. If your last name begins with A–J, argue in favor of nurses serving as expert witnesses for other professions. If your last name begins with K–Z, argue against nurses serving as expert witnesses for other professions.
Note: ( my last name begin with R)
