Pair task: Literature review- Writing a paper about creative methods
Managers often look for ways of inspiring employees. More than often, they find it difficult to find information about creative methods. They commonly ask themselves “what creative methods are there” – “are different methods better for developing various business activities as; strategy, products, services or the organization”? Since you soon might find yourself in a managerial position, we would like you to be better prepared. Your task is therefore to make a literature review. This means, writing a paper about and critically assess the use of creative methods. You should therefore identify and map research papers and popular literature relating to the subject of creative methods. You are in the discussion section of the paper also expected to reflect on all of the literature that you have been studying during the course. You can for example reflect on questions as “Do the authors of creative methods approach innovation/entrepreneurship from a discovery point of view or from a creation point of view”? “In what way does the descriptions of creative thinking resonance to entrepreneurial thinking”? “How does literature on creative thinking relate to the ideas of innovation management and management of strategic alliances”?
The paper should be about 6000-8000 words. Times New Roman, size 12. Figures and tables should be used with great concern. The paper should contain the following sections:
Introduction (about 400 words)
Method (about 400 words)
Literature review (about 4000-5000 words)
Discussion (about 1200 words) (Attn. We will write this part ourselves)
Conclusions (about 800 words)
References (not included in the 8000 words)
