Building a Product Backlog

Last week, you developed a business case for your SCRUM project. This week, define the scope and the requirements of your project. Then, enter them as product backlog features and user stories (or work items) in the Visual Studio Online (VSO) project that you created in Week 1. Your product backlog must include at least 3 backlog features and 10 user stories (or work items) in a nested, hierarchical order. The backlog work items must also be arranged based on the value they provide to the customer.

Once you have completed your product backlog in VSO, take a screenshot of it for your assignment submission.
In addition to your screenshot, include a 750- to 1250-word (3-5 page) paper with the following:

Summary of the backlog features and their associated user stories, and how they contribute toward the successful completion of the project
Explanation of your approach to this assignment and the decisions you made
Reflection on this learning experience and lessons learned
The assignment

Must be 750-1250 words (3-5 pages) in length (not including title and references pages, or the screenshot of your product backlog) and formatted according to APA style

Event Crisis Strategy

This work need to be a REPORT not essay but I could not find this one.
My scenario is :
You are the organiser of a large, high profile fashion event at London Fashion Week at the London College of Fashion & Design. The event will feature renowned models, buyers, stylist, sposnors and guests and the latest contemporary collections from a number of prestigious fasion designers.

Please be critical as much as you can, I would like to invite on this event some famous models e.g Naomi Cambell, Alessandria Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Anja Rubik, maybe Anna Wintour artistic director, and donatella versace etc.

The plan need to be really realistc, critical, strategic, dont use just academic sources.

Cisco Systems Web-Enablement

2-3 good paragraphs per question. Minimum of 1/2 page per question.

Page 1
1) After investing $15 million implementing an ERP system, Cisco spent the next two years investing $100 million in web-enablement initiatives. Why did they do that? How did standardized web protocols contribute to the success of these efforts?
Page 2
2) Select two of the five initiatives of the Cisco Supply Chain Initiative and explain how these contributed to the efficiency of the supply chain and increased profitability. Explain how the two initiatives you chose also contributed to supplier and customer satisfaction.
Page 3
3) Focusing on the two intranet initiatives, Employee Self-Service and Communication and Distance Learning, discuss how these initiatives might 1) improve employee productivity, 2) contribute to building a sense of community at Cisco, and 3) aid in employee retention.
Page 4
4) CEO John Chambers believed that “by providing the end-to-end network plumbing, we can change the way entire companies and industries operate.” How did Cisco’s IT web-enablement initiatives reinforce and demonstrate that belief? Explain your answer with examples.
Page 5
5) Do some external research on Cisco’s Web site www.cisco.com and related search sources and discus the current implementations of the key initiatives listed in the case. Some examples include supply chain management, employee and partner self-service, training and support. This can also include Cisco’s customer testimonials. Remember to list and site your external references and submissions to Turnitin.com for analysis any my review.

Argument About American History

The 4-5 page paper is a study into American history (Civil War to the present). The assignment is to choose two primary documents from the photographs in the dropbox link below (you may use more documents if you wish)( and make an argument about American history. Use the documents to focus your paper as you explain what the documents tell us about the historical period in which they are from. While you should spend time analyzing the document, it is important to place it into historical context. As you read a document, carefully think about the social, cultural, economic, racial, political, religious, and gender contexts (at least those are relevant) in which it was written. You should include quotes from the documents in the paper since these strengthen your argument and analysis. Have a clear thesis in the introduction with a well-developed argument throughout the paper.

You can use any documents you want and analyze them as you wish, but make sure you make your argument with solid historical background. As an example of a paper idea regarding changes in African-American life, you may want to compare Booker T. Washington’s The Atlanta Compromise with Stokely Carmichael, Black Power or Malcolm X’s The Black Revolution Speeches . Some questions to consider in this context: what did each individual say and why? What were their goals? How did they view the relationship between African-Americans and whites? Once you have these answers, ask why Carmichael and/or Malcolm differed so greatly from Washington. What happened in American society over time to cause these changes?

You MUST use the textbook, America: A Narrative History as your secondary source to provide the context for your historical argument.

Paper Requirements:
• You must use proper citation format –Chicago style but MLA is fine (if you are unfamiliar with these formats, please consult reference books on the method of citation).
• Typewritten, double-spaced in a 12 point font with one-inch margins. Pages must be numbered and page count DOES NOT include the works cited page/bibliography page.
• Write in the past tense (this is a history paper). Don’t use I, me, we, us, ours, yours, etc.
• Grammar and spelling count: so take the time to revise, rework, and proofread (let someone else read your paper).
• Do not include unnecessary information to pad the essay – this will only obscure your argument.

“The Scottish Attainment Challenge will focus and accelerate targeted improvement activity in literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing in specific areas of Scotland. It will also support and complement the broader range of initiatives and programmes to ensure that all of Scotland’s children and young people reach their full potential.” (Scottish Government)

It will also support and complement the broader range of initiatives and programmes to ensure that all of Scotland’s children and young people reach their full potential.” (Scottish Government)

Critically discuss the role inclusive practice plays in raising attainment.

Assessment Criteria
A: Demonstrate a critical awareness regarding the issue of attainment in Scottish schools.
B: Apply critical analysis to demonstrate how inclusive practice impacts on attainment (and vice versa)
C: Synthesise an extensive range of appropriate literature to demonstrate a critically analytical approach though the written assignment.

Inclusive Practice – the pedagogies we choose to ensure all children and young people can access the curriculum, are challenged and are not discriminated against. The barriers to learning are removed, acknowledged and supported or catered for.

A: Demonstrate a critical awareness regarding the issue of attainment in Scottish schools.
What is the Scottish Attainment Challenge and where did it come from?
What targeted improvement activities are part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge?
Why have literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing been chosen rather than other subjects?
Which areas of Scotland are these targeted improvement activities happening
Think of Part A as a funnel – start looking at issues surrounding attainment from a broad sense and start focussing this down further. I cannot discuss issues around attainment in Scottish schools if I have not explained what attainment is, what is happening in other countries and why the Scottish Government have made/are making these decisions.
Could discuss the issue of attainment by mentioning what it is, some limitations about the National Improvement Framework, discuss the limitations of policy borrowing (Scottish Attainment Challenge being slightly based on London Challenge), mention how Scotland’s Curriculum for Excellence supports the attainment challenge and also limitations of this too and about how governments may use attainment not to necessarily improve education outcomes but to compete with league tables (neo-liberal agenda).

B: Apply critical analysis to demonstrate how inclusive practice impacts on attainment (and vice versa)
Look at ‘early intervention and prevention’ which is an intervention for equity then split into literacy and numeracy and how early intervention can close the gap
Then look at ‘parental involvement’ another intervention for equity – focusing on literacy and numeracy – how involving parents will positively impact on attainment and how attainment will influence/impact parental involvement
C: Synthesise an extensive range of appropriate literature to demonstrate a critically analytical approach though the written assignment.

Policy brief

Order Description:Most policy makers do not have the time, or the interest, to read a long research report. However, that is not to say that they are not interested in the ideas and key information that comes out of research. A policy brief can provide decision makers with important information and ideas that can be put into action; it is the bridge between in-depth research and practical action.
To be effective a brief must:
• Be written in clear, concise language – no jargon!
• Provide the bare essential background information and no more.
• Be evidence based – do not make assertions that cannot be backed
up with empirical evidence
• Be very clear about having a single most important message.
• Limit the key recommendations to just a few – not dozens.
• Link findings and recommendations to concrete action points that include What should be done and By Whom. This may involve ideas about sequencing – what needs to be done now and what needs to be done in the medium to longer term?
• It should be short. It should also be visually appealing – too much text on a page will turn the reader off.
Your assigned Policy Brief
You are asked to write a policy brief on a given topic based on a full research report that has recently been finished.
You can write to any target policy audience you like as long as it is appropriate. The brief must make sense in terms of being policy relevant to the particular audience concerned, such as a specific ministry in a particular country, a particular institution within the UN.
The brief will be assessed on both content and presentation.
The brief must be internally coherent in its aim of presenting a viable set of recommendations for adoption by the entity concerned – that is, by the audience to which it is addressed. The brief must also be situated within the information contained within the full research report. Recommendations should emerge from the research findings and should signpost the evidence on which they are based.

The brief must be appropriate in language and presentation for its target audience. It must also be attractively laid out and easily accessible both visually and linguistically. The brief’s audience must be explicitly stated at the start of the brief and it should remain implicit in the issues addressed and the angle taken throughout in the sense that it must address issues of real concern to the government ministry, NGO, donor, or UN agency selected. Your recommendations should be clear, explicit and relevant to the target audience. They should be feasibly implementable by this ministry/UN etc. institution.
The brief should not include long stretches of unbroken text. It should be written in such a way that someone in a hurry can read the headings from each section and get a good idea of what the brief is about without reading the details.
Good visuals can be an important component but these must be directly relevant to the recommendations and research.Possible structure

Living in the Milisecond

Our entire lives are lead by the second we live in, all our memories, fears, love and moments are experienced within that one second.

What is interesting is that most people live their lives on auto pilot, and do not acknowledge the second they live in.

The paper discusses thoughts on all of the above, as well as everything in life that contributes to the second we live in. In particular, the subconscious “weight” of the brain within this second.

It also , less importantly, discusses the idea of people living on autopilot

the first general idea is that we all have memories and future ambitions, these never go away and i believe are a fundamental part to the second we live in. But why? Why cant we live our lives fully in the moment, without considering past or future?

I believe while every memory added up are the formation of this “brain weight” that there are a few pillars in everyones life that contribute to this “second” deeper. I will discuss all of them.

Financial status/ Security
Relationships
Love/ Partner
Sense of achievement – actual achievement
Power
Academic – Knowledge based status
social status
Culture and world Knowledge
Empathy both on a conscious and subconscious level
10. Awareness and consciousness of the present
11. Fun
12. Ego
13. Hatred and Resentment

First. Discussing the second. Everyone is only actually really conscious in that milisecond. everything else turns into a memory. The memories then, combined, turn into what I call a “weight” in the brain. The weight in the brain then becomes the foundation of how the second is lived emotionally. Emotions aren’t controlable, so a person struggling with an emotional issue, will find it difficult to then live in the second.

(so why shouldn’t people just be fully invested in the millisecond. – it doesn’t work, you could do that, spend all your money and be broke but really enjoy the moments while you can. Its not only about enjoyment, its about using it to not only “enjoy the process” but eventually achieve the right and fine tuned “ weight “ that allows people to really be the best versions of themselves. The way i see it, having too much of anything on the list defeats the purpose of being fully conscious , because, for example, if you have too much power, everything else is affected, and the weight of power in the brain becomes a barrier to all the other factors, which will affect the way someone behaves within the millisecond, as power suddenly becomes the only important factor in life. Its about fine tuning and balancing, for the goal of 1. Living your best life (When I say this i mean truly, enjoying every moment in a conscious way, as well as building the foundations of all of the list, in order to have the perfect “weight’ of the mind)

for every pillar, Id like to discuss more profoundly why it contributes, with examples.

IE , Being unreasonably in love, contributes to the second but other things become less important

Or, having infinite power etc etc

Project 2: Archive Analysis and Evaluation
ENGL12139
———————————————————————————————————————
Worth: 20% of final grade Due Dates:
Pages: 4-6 (double-spaced, 12-pt TNR font) PR Workshop:
Readings: Ch. 13 & 15 (EAA) Final Draft:
———————————————————————————————————————
Now that you have had a chance to identify your chosen archive’s properties and rhetorical context, you can begin to work a bit more closely with it by completing an in-depth analysis and evaluation. This assignment, which will be similar to the analysis and evaluation essays you may have completed for Comp I, is intended to provide you with the opportunity to conduct strategic reading in order to critically analyze and thoughtfully evaluate an archive as a research source.
*******For this assignment, you will write a 4-6 page paper analyzing and evaluating your archive. On the basis of your analysis, you will draw conclusions about the archive and for the evaluation portion, you will need to develop clear criteria in order to form your argument. This analysis & evaluation will be directed by your response to one of the inquiry questions listed below:
• What values does this archive privilege or forward? How does it do this, and is this approach fair and reasonable?
• Is this archive an ethical representation of its material? If so, how? If not, in what ways could it be improved?
• The materials of the archive offer a snapshot of a particular person, event, time, or place. Each of the items in the archive offer a story or narrative. Which stories/which items are the most significant and why?
• Considering the voices present in the archive, how are they a fair and equitable representation of the larger social/cultural context? In what ways might there be avenues for improvement?
Note: You must also use a consistent citation system and include a proper works cited page or bibliography that will include at least 4 items: the text you evaluate and three documents from the archive itself.

Outcomes:
• Develop a thoughtful analytical argument in response to a selected inquiry question based on the sources provided by the archive
• Apply archival sources and secondary sources (as appropriate) in order to support the argument
• Draw a conclusion answering the inquiry question
• Support the conclusion appropriately using archival sources
• Identify and apply appropriate revision at both deep and surface levels

Grading Criteria:
• Analysis contains clear evidence of thoughtful response to the inquiry question
• Clearly-stated criteria forms the basis for the evaluation
• Evaluation is fair and reasonable and supported by evidence from the archive
• Writing style and tone is appropriate for the target audience, and follows grammatical conventions appropriate for this writing genre
