To complete:
Design an educational handout on the health issue you selected.
Include a cover page.
Include an introduction that provides:
An explanation of your issue and why you selected it
A description of the audience you are addressing
In the handout itself:
Develop your handout in such a way that it attracts the attention of the intended audience.
Include a description of the health issue and additional content that will enhance your message (i.e., key terms and definitions, graphics, illustrations, etc.).
Recommend four or five sites that provide clear, valuable, and reliable information on the topic.

After reading on Baumarind’s parenting styles, reflect on your

As you may be aware, there are currently two major bodies governing accounting – the FASB and the IASB. Companies in the United States are required to report their financial results in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Over 120 countries around the world report in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) or some approximation thereof. The SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) has final responsibility for overseeing the convergence of these accounting methodologies in the United States. In general, it is said that GAAP is more rules based and that IFRS is more principles based. Adherence to one standard or the other results in financial statements that can differ significantly in their presentation. The Canvas site has a synopsis (prepared by several of the major accounting firms) of some of the remaining significant differences between GAAP and IFRS.

The Food Sustainability Theme Project/Final Paper is due by November 27th. The Final Paper should have the following content (with headings):

The length of the Food Sustainability Theme Project Final Paper will be 10-15 pages plus references. All written assignments must be one-and-a-half spaced in 11-point print with one-inch margins, spell checked, and reviewed for grammatical errors. Grammatical errors and lack of clarity will result in lost points and lower grades.

The Final Paper should show excellent utilization and application of English language vocabulary and make extensive references to required texts and other course materials. All arguments or major points of view should be well supported by sound data and/or primary source material, proper text citation of sources, strong evidence of creative and original thought, excellent sentence structure and organization, and a neat and tidy presentation.
