The process of creating a Code of Ethics can be challenging, as there are many factors to consider, as well as the needed assistance from various stakeholders to determine the content in the Code of Ethics. Given the fact that you have read about the benefits of Code of Ethics, as well as some factors to consider when developing a Code of Ethics, examine the Code of Ethics for three businesses within the same industry. Then, provide the following information:
An overview about the industry (e.g., status of the industry) and the three companies selected (e.g., organizational size, location, profitability, product/service, etc.)
A thorough overview of the strengths and weaknesses of each Code of Ethics
Recommendations for improving the Code of Ethics
Industry-specific ethical standards, which must be considered during the process of the Code of Ethics creation, for future organizations entering this industry.
Three to four pages in length and include a title page, section headers, an introduction, a conclusion, and a reference page.

What Psychology Do
you will select three professional psychology sub-specialties from a list at the end of these instructions and submit a report addressing the below from the American Psychological Association website at http://www.APA.org and one other occupation-related website (e.g. the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook Online) related to the sub-specialties (the latter must be professional and not commercial sites):
The type of work in which professionals within a particular sub-specialty engage.
The educational preparation and training the sub-specialty requires.
Any professional license or certification required, and how it is obtained, before one may practice within the sub-specialty (if these are not required, this must be noted in the paper).
A description of a professional organization supporting the sub-specialty (e.g. National Council on Family Relations, NCFR, supports the sub-specialty of Developmental Psychology).
A brief paragraph at the end of each paper explaining the student’s interest, or lack of interest, in the sub-specialty based on learning obtained while researching it.
You may choose which three sub-specialty areas from the list below to investigate and report on during this week and Week 5, but all of the sub-specialties must be covered.
This assignment must be completed per the course general writing standards in addition to the above instructions. Required page length is 3 pages

Discussion: Which World?
We are now in a position to compare and contrast Utilitarianism and Kant’s deontology.Consider the two hypothetical worlds below.
1. In which world would you rather live?
2. In which world would Mill find to be a morally better world? Why?
3. In which world would Kant find to be a morally better world? Why?
4. Which world do you think is closer (has more properties) to our world?
Read the two worlds below and answer the above questions in essay style (do not type the numbers in). Make sure you give me evidence that you understand Kant and Mill. Always separate your explanation of Kant from your explanation of Mill. Always use separate paragraphs for explanations versus assessments (e.g. “I agree” is an assessment.) 2 or 3 paragraphs should be sufficient for this assignment (1 or 2 paragraphs on items #2-4 on the list above and 1 paragraph on item #1).
World A. The land of good motives:
The good news about this world is that everyone living in it means well– they always act on good intentions. The bad news is that they aren’t very smart– they rarely achieve their intended consequences, and they often make things worse. There are few technological advances in this world, due to clumsiness. Even so, there are no ill-intentioned people living here. One can always find a friendly neighbor willing to lend a helping hand– never mind that in helping, something is apt to break.
World B. The land of good consequences:
In this world, everyone is driven by greed– every action is motivated by selfish considerations. Because of the money to be made from medical breakthroughs, there is virtually no physical illness in this world– greed-driven research has led to cures for almost all diseases. Similar benefits account for technological breakthroughs in virtually every aspect of life. In terms of technology, this is utopia. But watch your back: the people in this world would sell out their best friend for a dime.

Case Study for Issues in K-12 Education
The materials in this case study are a combination of authentic public domain
documents and simulated documents that were created specifically for the case
study that draw on authentic research and data from government and scholarly
sources, and from the opinions of experts in the field.
The mention of “your state” is a generic reference intended to be inclusive for any
background.
Scenario
Your state is considering a required set of education standards that all schools
must adopt. You have been nominated to serve on the statewide committee to
inform the legislature as to which standards, if any, should be adopted. You will
have the opportunity to take a stand on the following issue; does a set of required
standards improve or limit education for all students (e.g., general education
students, special education, English language learners, gifted learners) in state
schools?
Consider the following questions: How can standards be implemented to improve
the quality of education for all students in all levels, and types, of classrooms
(e.g., general education, special education, vocational)? Is it more effective to
adopt district standards, state-specific standards, or national standards?
Once you decide which standards to adopt, what materials, supports, and
training will be needed to implement them? How do different stakeholders (e.g.,
policy makers, government leaders, principals, teachers with various specialties
and points of view, students, parents) feel about the issue of standards adoption
and implementation?

Write a paper in which you analyze the character of Nora. In terms of your thesis, can you develop three aspects of Nora’s character? Think of what defines Nora as a person. What do the critics say about Nora? Quote from the play AND from the critics. [You will be listing four critical articles and the play as a fifth source on your Works Cited page for this topic.]
The Assignment:
Write on one of the topics below dealing with A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen:
1. Write a paper in which you analyze the character of Nora. In terms of your thesis,
can you develop three aspects of Nora’s character? Think of what defines Nora as
a person. What do the critics say about Nora? Quote from the play AND from the
critics. [You will be listing four critical articles and the play as a fifth source on
your Works Cited page for this topic.]
2. Write a paper in which you analyze the character of Torvald. Does he love Nora?
Is his behavior reasonable or not? What do the critics say about him? In terms of
your thesis, can you develop three aspects of Torvald’s character? What defines
Torvald as a person? Quote from the play AND from the critics. [You will be
listing four critical articles and the play as a fifth source on your Works Cited
page for this topic.]
3. Write a paper that analyzes criticism on A Doll’s House. Use the complete PMLA
essay by Joan Templeton in your essay (“The Doll House Backlash: Criticism,
Feminism, and Ibsen”), plus three other articles from scholarly journals. Quote
from all four critical articles. [You will be listing four critical articles on the
Works Cited page for this topic. Should you quote from the play also, you will list
the play as a fifth source.]
Format/Length: Your paper should be at least 1,000 words: double-spaced, 12-pt. font,
MLA documentation. Save your file in Word (.docx or .doc) or as a .PDF file.
Articles: For all topics, use FOUR critical articles from professional journals, found at the
HCCS Library Databases (ProQuest, JSTOR, Academic Search Complete).
Remember that all quotations, paraphrases, and summaries MUST be cited intext.
Cite an article by the author’s last name and the page: (Templeton 28). The
last page of your paper should be a works cited page.
Finding Articles:
• In the HCCS Library website, look at databases such as ProQuest, JSTOR,
Academic Search Complete, and Wilson OmniFile. These are great databases in
which to conduct a search for articles. Remember that you are looking for articles
in .PDF files.
• In doing your search, type in these search terms: Henrik Ibsen AND A Doll’s
House. When browsing through the articles, look at as many as possible. And
don’t overlook articles that might seem, at first glance, too general; A Doll’s
House might not be in the article title, yet the article might deal with the play
significantly. Additionally, articles may be found in collections (bound in an
edited collection as a book, with a title page that reveals each article by a different
author).
• AVOID performance reviews, book reviews, magazine articles, versions of the
play, or summaries of the play. Do NOT use encyclopedias or abstracts. You may
NOT use sources such as encyclopedias, abstracts of articles, Cliff’s Notes,
Monarch Notes, or series such as British Authors. Do NOT search for sources by
using Yahoo or Google. (Needless to say, blogs and sites with student papers are
TOTALLY unacceptable.)
• Articles should come from journals such as Modern Language Quarterly, The
Explicator, Scandinavian Studies, The Theatre Journal, and College English.
• Points will be deducted if you have used unacceptable, unscholarly sources.
You should be aware of acceptable and nonacceptable sources after receiving
comments on your Annotated Bibliography.
Plagiarism Policy: Any plagiarism, any failure to document quotations, summaries,
and paraphrases (MLA documentation) will result in a zero on the
assignment. Turnitin will provide a report as to the originality of the paper. You
should be aware of the Honesty Policy stated on the Syllabus; it is expected
that this paper is TOTALLY your own work of analysis and writing—do
NOT consult information on the Internet in any fashion, and do NOT
collaborate with friends/classmates.
Submission: Submit your file in the Assignment link in Eagle Online Canvas.
Beginning the Writing Process:
• Once you have found your sources, take notes and highlight important passages.
As you write your rough draft, include quotations, paraphrases, and summaries
from sources—cite on a sentence-by-sentence basis as you write the rough draft.
Remember that you need a thesis statement which lists the three major points you
are going to develop in your paper.
• When citing quotes from A Doll’s House, cite the act number and the page
parenthetically: (775; act 2).
• When quoting a brief passage from one character in the play, identify the speaker
in your introduction to the quote. (Remember that long quotes should be blocked.)
• IF you quote conversation between two characters, that quote should be
BLOCKED—and then character names would be in all caps before speeches (just
as displayed in your text).
• If you quote stage directions, note that they should be in italics.
• You may use ellipses to omit any part of a speech (or stage directions).
• INTRODUCE ALL QUOTES—with an independent clause followed by a colon.
• When citing a quote from an article, cite the author’s last name and the page:
(Templeton 29). Spell names of critics correctly. You do NOT have to put the title
of the article inside your paragraph; such information should be on the works
cited page. Open .PDF files so you will have page numbers to cite; do NOT open
.html files for articles in the databases.
• The last page of your final draft should consist of the required works cited page.
Editing:
• Make certain you proofread carefully! You will be graded on quality of sources,
soundness of content, thoroughness of documentation, plus grammar, punctuation,
and spelling.
Design Process
PART ONE
Design Flaws
Design Flaws: Locate an artifact – video game, mobile application, interactive toy or website that you believe did not take into account a child’s point of view. How is it flawed? Then give a few suggestions about how to make it more suitable to the needs of a child (infant to a late teenage product are acceptable) as related to the readings.
PART TWO
Zimmerman Forum(this reading is in the additional files)
Eric Zimmerman (2003) makes a strong case for the iterative design process in his article “Play as Research: The Iterative Design Process.” In presenting three examples, he emphasizes how different the process can be depending on the participant age group, values and goal of the game, game mechanics, and resources of the game creators. Please answer one of the following:
1. If you have gone through the iterative design process either for school or work, describe briefly what you experienced. What age group did you work with? What did you find worked for your participants, and what did not? What factor(s) most influenced your final (most evolved) product?
2. If you have not gone through the iterative design process, imagine you are creating a “playtesting” scenario for children, and pick an age group you would like to work with. What developmental characteristics of this age group will you have to accommodate? What type of game/app/product would you like to research with that group? What is the goal of your design research? What factors (e.g., language, literacy levels, parental and peer influence, available time, resources) could you see most affecting your design process?
PART THREE
Teachley: Addimal Adventure & Mt. Multiplis
Teachley brings you Addimal Adventure. Within Canvas, you will find promotional material as well as a research paper focusing on the Addimal Adventure. Use the readings to decide if the application highlights any of the information this week or violates it. Perhaps you can also take the opportunity to share similar learning applications with your classmates.

Breastfeeding in Public
Hi, I am doing my third year in Food and Nutrition degree in the UK. The full title is Public Acceptance of Breastfeeding in Public. This is a 5000-6000 words Research Project that I have to finish in a few months but struggling to start it. I’ve been asked by my tutor to write 1000 words and see my tutor next week for a feed back. In my first seminar the tutor said “Breastfeeding rate in the UK is low” which is true then she said revise the literature. Next, think what we know about it. We have to find out why we have this in the UK. We, students, mentioned the reasons for this problem. For example, embarrassment, education, parents influence, lack of support, sexualisation of it, lack of support and judgement, people say cover your breasts, (In fact, I have chosen these points but there were other points as well). Then she said we found what the norms are now and we can think who these people are. Now I have to say who these people are, which is important for this writing, and who is thinking like this. Going back to my objective I have to target these people and educate them. As far as I know I have to target a special group for instance, 40-45 years old and change their attitude towards breastfeeding in the UK by educating them. I think, how I am going to do this is by creating some questions which is the next step. But, I have to write 1000 words first. If you would like more information, please let me know.
