Contract Drafting Draft a legal contract with terms that both the buyer and the seller agree to.

Contract Drafting
Draft a legal contract with terms that both the buyer and the seller agree to.

You are encouraged to work with a sample contract from the internet. However, be aware that such documents usually have multiple provisions that may not be needed for your situation and some of which may contradict other provisions. Therefore, you should remove unwanted wording. Overall, keep this assignment short. As you can probably tell, the heart of the assignment is the “guarantee provision.” Pay close attention to how you word it. Put yourself in the Seller’s position. Be specific about what the guarantee actually covers and what the Seller is willing to do if the dog does not win any shows. Include what duties the Buyer has to prepare the dog for show. Grammar and spelling count! Give your contract a professional look!

Situtation:
Your beloved Collie, My Consideration, has produced a litter of pure-bred puppies. You are advertising them for sale for a price of $1,500.00 each. You want each qualified buyer to sign a contract so that there will be no misunderstandings in the future.
Mr. Jeff Sterling wants to buy one of your puppies. He intends to show this dog and wants you to guarantee that the dog will do well and win ribbons. He has made it clear that he will not buy the puppy unless you can guarantee him that the puppy will win ribbons.
Create a contract for the sale of the puppy to Mr. Jeff Sterling for $1,500.00.
The puppy is a male dog named “Stare Decisis”.
His litter registration number is 15-0515
His Sire is “Quasi Contract”; registration number 9466824
His Dam is “My Consideration”; registration number 6625407
You may use any sample contracts you might locate on the Internet. Try to find one designed specifically for the sale of a puppy. Be careful to remove provisions not applicable to this assignment.
Make sure your contract is legal and enforceable and that it contains all the essential terms that you and Mr. Sterling want. Remember that parties can agree to any terms they want as long as the terms are legal. The buyer wants a guarantee that the dog will win prizes. What are you as the seller willing to do if the dog does not win? Also, If you are willing to make this guarantee, what obligations do you want to impose on the buyer to ensure the dog is prepared to perform his best in competitions?

How does social structure influence the choices and experiences of aging individuals

A sociological perspective on aging highlights the role that social structure plays in shaping the choices and experiences of aging individuals. That is, sociologists recognize that while we are acting, feeling, reasoning beings that attach meaning to our behaviour, there are also important structural forces that influence our choices and experiences. For example, an individual’s choice to dye their greying hair may be influenced by the powerful forces of the media and cultural expectations of aging. Similarly, an older person’s choice to participate in community events may depend on their access to economic resources and transportation. Taking a sociological perspective, then, involves realizing that age-related experiences are more than private, personal issues. Choices and experiences of the elderly also depend on “the ways in which our society is organized at a given history, including its distribution of wealth, political and economic system, cultural patterns, dominant social roles, and power relationships between groups” (Funk, 2016, p.3).
Learning Objectives:
· Identify social structures in the social world that may influence aging individuals.
· Discuss how social structures can be used to explain individual choices and experiences of the elderly.
Instructions:
Write a one-page response to the following question:
How does social structure influence the choices and experiences of aging individuals?
You must identify two social structures from the social world and discuss how they may influence choices and experiences of aging individuals.
Social structures include such concepts as social stratification, inequality, social institutions (such as political, economic, education, health and family systems), cultural patterns, roles and status to name a few.
Your paper should include the following paragraphs:
Introduction
· Introduce the social structures you will discuss.
· What is the relevance of focusing on how we organize our society to studying the aging population?
Body
· What is meant by the term social structure?
· Identify 2 social structures that shape the lives of older individuals.
· Define each of the 2 social structures using sources from course material.
· Discuss how the structures influence the choices and experiences of aging.
· Provide support for your discussion by referring to textbook and additional course material.
Conclusion
· Briefly summarize the main points.
· What are the implications of explaining age-related issues by looking at social structures?
To help you respond to the question above, please refer to Required Readings for this module:
A. Textbook Reading: Chapter 1 “Choices and Constraints in Aging: Theoretical Approaches and Sociological Contributions” (Funk, 2016)
B. Social Structure and Aging: Wister, Andrew V., & McPherson, Barry D. (2014). Social structure and aging. In Aging as a social process: Canadian perspectives, Sixth Edition (p. 165-174). Don Mills, Ontario: Oxford University Press

For Short Answers One & Two: You can use a movie or television show if you are not familiar enough with Theatrical plays or musicals. However, do not use one of the plays mentioned in this Chapter in the textbook.

WHAT: Two Short Answer / Two Essay

Please read Chapter Three in its entirety.

For Short Answers One & Two: You can use a movie or television show if you are not familiar enough with Theatrical plays or musicals. However, do not use one of the plays mentioned in this Chapter in the textbook.

SHORT ANSWER ONE
What is a good example of a modern-day Tragedy? Why? Cite reasons from the textbook.
Of course, I would love it if every student chose a work of Theatre (a play or musical) but it is acceptable to choose a work of Cinema (a movie or even a narrative television show is okay) for this answer and the next.
HINT: Do not choose the movie Titantic. Yes, it is a tragedy — and not just because the internet says it is — but I am sooo tired of this answer.

SHORT ANSWER TWO
What is a good example of a modern-day Comedy? Why? Cite reasons from the textbook.
HINT: Regarding The Hangover or Bridesmaids… same as Titanic. Boring answer! Comedy is as popular in the modern United States as it has ever been in human history. You’ve had plenty of exposure to it. Come up with an answer on your own!

ESSAY ONE
When it comes to Theatre, what is the meaning of the term: Style?
After watching the presentation in the attached Supplemental Material, please include one link to demonstrate just one example of one of the Theatrical Styles discussed.

ESSAY TWO – The Six Elements of Drama [Theatre]
Note: There is much to cover in this essay.
In this chapter, you are going to read about Aristotle’s Six “Elements of Drama.” They are 1) PLOT, 2) CHARACTER, 3) THOUGHT, 4) DICTION, 5) MUSIC and 6) SPECTACLE in order of importance. After you feel that you are clear on these terms and what they mean to and in a work of theatre, please watch the play in the link below. After you have watched (and hopefully chuckled at) this complete — though only twelve minutes in length — piece of Theatre, please explore each one of Aristotle’s Six Elements as they apply to this play. You will want to not only report on what you have seen and heard but you will want to share your personal opinion as to how each of Aristotle’s elements is represented in this play.
This production is deceptively simple but there might be more to Elements Four, Five and Six than what immediately meets the eye or ear. Even so, do not be afraid to state the obvious. Just make sure that you state it intelligently and address how each of these elements is represented according to Aristotle.
Sure Thing, a One Act Play by David Ives. Performed by The Williamsburg Theatre Company.

Renal Diseases

This assignment involves finding an issue you have encountered in practice – this could be your
clinical practice or nursing related work if you are employed in healthcare. Identify and reflect on the
issue. Conduct a search for literature related to this issue and provide a brief overview of the
evidence. Please be creative in identifying issues related to where you would like to work in the
future – you may have also witnessed or experienced something during your clinical placements that
you feel could be done better. This is your chance to prove that this is the case.
Some examples may include:
• Mental health: Nurses roles in seclusion reduction.
• Medical settings: How can we recognise delirium better?
• Community nursing: What are the risks in community visiting?
• Surgical settings: Is post-operative pain assessment by nurses effective?
Introduce your paper and provide some objectives. Define the issue you will be discussing. Make
sure you provide a search strategy – as discussed in lectures, searches need to be repeatable and
believable! Describe the evidence you have found. It may be better to do this in themes to make the
structure of your paper stronger. Finally, provide a discussion/conclusion that draws this evidence
together to support change in the issue you have identified.
References must be in APA 6th edition. Be sure to provide strong evidence to inform your arguments.
