Draft a legal contract with terms that both the buyer and the seller agree to.

You are encouraged to work with a sample contract from the internet. However, be aware that such documents usually have multiple provisions that may not be needed for your situation and some of which may contradict other provisions. Therefore, you should remove unwanted wording. Overall, keep this assignment short. As you can probably tell, the heart of the assignment is the “guarantee provision.” Pay close attention to how you word it. Put yourself in the Seller’s position. Be specific about what the guarantee actually covers and what the Seller is willing to do if the dog does not win any shows. Include what duties the Buyer has to prepare the dog for show. Grammar and spelling count! Give your contract a professional look!

Situtation:
Your beloved Collie, My Consideration, has produced a litter of pure-bred puppies. You are advertising them for sale for a price of $1,500.00 each. You want each qualified buyer to sign a contract so that there will be no misunderstandings in the future.
Mr. Jeff Sterling wants to buy one of your puppies. He intends to show this dog and wants you to guarantee that the dog will do well and win ribbons. He has made it clear that he will not buy the puppy unless you can guarantee him that the puppy will win ribbons.
Create a contract for the sale of the puppy to Mr. Jeff Sterling for $1,500.00.
The puppy is a male dog named “Stare Decisis”.
His litter registration number is 15-0515
His Sire is “Quasi Contract”; registration number 9466824
His Dam is “My Consideration”; registration number 6625407
You may use any sample contracts you might locate on the Internet. Try to find one designed specifically for the sale of a puppy. Be careful to remove provisions not applicable to this assignment.
Make sure your contract is legal and enforceable and that it contains all the essential terms that you and Mr. Sterling want. Remember that parties can agree to any terms they want as long as the terms are legal. The buyer wants a guarantee that the dog will win prizes. What are you as the seller willing to do if the dog does not win? Also, If you are willing to make this guarantee, what obligations do you want to impose on the buyer to ensure the dog is prepared to perform his best in competitions?

For this assessment task you will write a case study, in a report format, addressing the legislative and regulatory requirements of a contemporary public health issue. You are required to select a topic from the list provided below. If you have your own topic that you are interested in, you will need to first seek written approval from the Lecturer in Charge (LIC).

Presentation
The assignment should follow a report-style format with an introduction, number of sections and conclusion. Headings and sub-headings should be used; they also provide clear ‘signposts’ to your content.

In preparing a report, you should include:

1. A brief introduction (stating rationale, purpose and structure)

2. Number of sections (most of the report)
• describe background and context (historical development, nature and scale of the health problem, political and social context of the legislation)
• explain and analyse the legislative and regulatory framework of the topic
• analyse the legislation in the context of changes and improvements (or otherwise) to public health outcomes
• critique the roles and responsibilities of major stakeholders (government, industry, non-government organisations, etc.) and what role have they played in influencing this legislation? (if applicable)
• analyse and explain whether the national legislation is consistent with international frameworks (if applicable)
• explain the strategies adopted in implementing the legislation.

3. Conclusion (1 paragraph)

Overview of the CFW Clinics Case:
For ten years, CFW Clinics have been operating in Kenya as for-profit enterprises under the non-
profit HealthStore Foundation (HSF). The CFW brand has been operating through the Sustainable
Healthcare Foundation (SHF), a nonprofit in Kenya. Now CFW has been established as a trusted
brand, HSF is considering running it exclusively as a for-profit entity to gain additional funding from
investors. There is disagreement among the two top managers of the organization as to which path
the clinic should pursue as they continue to grow their operation.

A sociological perspective on aging highlights the role that social structure plays in shaping the choices and experiences of aging individuals. That is, sociologists recognize that while we are acting, feeling, reasoning beings that attach meaning to our behaviour, there are also important structural forces that influence our choices and experiences. For example, an individual’s choice to dye their greying hair may be influenced by the powerful forces of the media and cultural expectations of aging. Similarly, an older person’s choice to participate in community events may depend on their access to economic resources and transportation. Taking a sociological perspective, then, involves realizing that age-related experiences are more than private, personal issues. Choices and experiences of the elderly also depend on “the ways in which our society is organized at a given history, including its distribution of wealth, political and economic system, cultural patterns, dominant social roles, and power relationships between groups” (Funk, 2016, p.3).

This assignment uses a suburban state primary school as a setting for the prevention of overweight and obesity.
