Short Essay Analysis on Long Works of Fiction

Your task is to read the last two passages (from Catch-22 and The Ballad of the Sad Cafe) and then write a 3-page analysis of one of those excerpts.

* An analysis of this type focuses on the literary characteristics of the text you have read. So to formulate your essay, utilize the “Useful Terms” page attached. Some of these terms (e.g., “Setting” are quite general, so they can provide topics for body paragraphs in your essays. Other terms (e.g., “Image”) are specific, so they can be the details in those paragraphs. You can also address other concepts, such as Character, which do not appear in the list.

* Please do not try to write about the whole novel. There is not time for that, and you will only confuse yourself (and me). And please– Do not try to steal information from the Internet about the whole work.

* You will thus produce one short essay, approximately 3 pages long.

Experimentation and Obsevation Research

You are the research manager within your organization, and you are grappling with a problem that needs further research. Your immediate supervisor is interested in using experimentation and observation research techniques in researching this problem and requests that you prepare a presentation to educate him on these methods. You are unsure whether using these techniques would be adequate, but you set yourself on a mission to analyze the two research methods to provide him with the best information.
Compile a PowerPoint with your analysis of experimentation and observation as they apply to your company and/or discipline. In your PowerPoint, be sure to address the following questions/topics:
1. Describe specific experimentation and observational methods that could be used within your discipline to gather data. Include your rationale.
2. Evaluate their effectiveness with respect to certain areas within your discipline.
3. Include company or organizational examples, as relevant.
4. In your opinion, are there any ethical implications with the use of experimentation and observational methods within your discipline?
Your presentation must be at least 7 slides in length (not including your title slide and your reference slide). In this presentation, you are required to use speaker notes. In the speaker notes, you will provide what you would say if you were actually giving the presentation to your supervisor. Please write your notes in complete sentences and adhere to typical grammar and punctuation rules.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of group counselling over individual counselling? What does the research tell us?

A research paper in which you are expected to critically analyze and synthesize the research to demonstrate a thorough investigation of the target issue. Ensure your paper includes a balanced perspective of the research (e.g., considering both the strengths and limitations), rather than a one-sided argument. Further, it is critical to integrate the research to formulate scholarly conclusions based on your analysis. It is expected that a minimum of 12 primary sources are used for this paper. Minimize (or avoid all together) the use of direct quotes unless necessary.

Hollistic Marketing

Good marketing and its management is built on collecting information, forecasting demand, and getting feedback. Some of your best research may be informal; your peers may be part of your target market and/or may be able to provide valuable resources or feedback for your marketing plan. Based on the small business of Pet Grooming and Boarding:
State the business and outline your potential customer base (target market), and how you will go about forecasting demand.
Determine what research you will need to conduct to assure that your marketing strategy is based on appropriate market segments. Search the Internet and provide an example of a marketing intelligence resource related to your marketing plan; how can it be valuable to your marketing plan?
Identify the major forces in the demographic, economic, sociocultural, natural, technological, and political-legal environment, and discuss how each one will impact your marketing strategy.

Critical Analysis

A critical analysis is an analytical study of a scholarly journal article relevant to required course readings and class work. Be mindful that journal articles are scholarly sources and not just any article located on the Internet that might be based upon opinion only and subject to bias. While there are a plethora of applicable journals, two examples of scholarly journals might be the Journal of Business Ethics or the Journal of Business & Management. Preferably, the subject and content will be from your personal work experience as it pertains to the course you are taking and will address issues currently facing human resource managers in the workplace. The work selected for review must have been published within the last three years. The paper should be at least 6 pages in length and include a title page, abstract page, and a reference page as well as follow proper APA format.

As with any academic writing, students should use evidence to support their analysis and any new content they have drawn from their findings. Students must cite the sources of all ideas, facts, and information used that are not their own, even if they have put the information into their own words. Failure to do so is plagiarism, even if the oversight is unintentional.

case study on death and dying

Details:
The practice of health care providers at all levels brings you into contact with people from a variety of faiths. This calls for knowledge and acceptance of a diversity of faith expressions.
The purpose of this paper is to complete a comparative ethical analysis of George’s situation and decision from the perspective of two worldviews or religions: Christianity and a second religion of your choosing. For the second faith, choose a faith that is unfamiliar to you. Examples of faiths to choose from include Sikh, Baha’i, Buddhism, Shintoism, etc.
In your comparative analysis, address all of the worldview questions in detail for Christianity and your selected faith. Refer to Chapter 2 of Called to Care for the list of questions. Once you have outlined the worldview of each religion, begin your ethical analysis from each perspective.
In a minimum of 1,500-2,000 words, provide an ethical analysis based upon the different belief systems, reinforcing major themes with insights gained from your research, and answering the following questions based on the research:
How would each religion interpret the nature of George’s malady and suffering? Is there a “why” to his disease and suffering? (i.e., is there a reason for why George is ill, beyond the reality of physical malady?)
In George’s analysis of his own life, how would each religion think about the value of his life as a person, and value of his life with ALS?
What sorts of values and considerations would each religion focus on in deliberating about whether or not George should opt for euthanasia?
Given the above, what options would be morally justified under each religion for George and why?
Finally, present and defend your own view.
Support your position by referencing at least three academic resources (preferably from the GCU Library) in addition to the course readings, lectures, the Bible, and the textbooks for each religion. Each religion must have a primary source included. A total of six references are required according to the specifications listed above. Incorporate the research into your writing in an appropriate, scholarly manner.
