Search information about the following basic microeconomic concepts, and define them in both English and Spanish:

  1. Elasticity
  2. Demand elasticity
  3. Income elasticity
  4. Supply elasticity
  5. Production costs

Elaborate an APA formatted, one page single spaced, or a two-page double spaced essay using the definitions and providing examples for each definition. Make sure you have an introduction, and provide analysis and conclusions, internal references, and a List of References.

In microeconomics basics, elasticity is the degree to which consumers, individuals and producers change amount supplied or demand in relation to income changes and price. Elasticity is important in enquiring the difference in consumer demand as a result of services or good of a price. However, can also be termed as the measure of the quantity demanded or supplied to the differences of either supply or demand (William, 2016).   In economics elasticity answers questions such as: Perhaps, pricing of a certain product decreases to what extend is it effective to the firm to be able to supply in the market. Secondly, if l decrease the product price, will l sell to a maximum. Thirdly, increasing pricing of one good how effective can it be to other sales.

Step 2: Let’s connect!

Go to the following website for Toys ‘R’ Us: www.toysrus.com  (If Toys R Us is blocked try other toy stores online)

Once you are there, you will find toys categorized by age appropriateness to the left of the page. Here’s what you are to do:

  1. You will create a word document with one page for each of Jean Piaget’s four stages of cognitive development.
  2. Browse the Toys ‘R’ Us website looking for age appropriate toys that, in your opinion, help to develop a child’s cognitive abilities as outlined by Piaget.
  3. On each page, you need to have the image of the toy and a description (in your own words!) of how the toy works. On that same page, you need to explain how the toy fulfills the needs outlined by Piaget. Make sure to use specific vocabulary terms from Piaget’s theory—you are being graded based upon your understanding of his theory.

Epigraph – Lord of the flies

Simple Instructions:
1. Write an epigraph for any five chapters of Lord of the Flies.
2. Include the source (where you got it from).
3. Write 4-5 sentences explaining why you chose the quotation you did, and how it connects to the chapter.
4. Submit to the Dropbox.

More Detailed Instructions:
1. Write an epigraph for any five chapters of Lord of the Flies. You should think about anything you’ve read or heard that has a close connection to one of the chapters. For instance, there may be a quote in a song you like that says, “We are nothing on our own; we are everything together.” You may think to yourself that this captures the essence of the second chapter, where Ralph and Piggy are intent on working together to explore the island and make a plan for the future. You can include this quote as your epigraph. Do not quote from Lord of the Flies.
2. Include the source. That means that below your epigraph, you will indicate where you got it from. Perhaps the song is called “Everything We Are” by Ramin Fang. Include this. If the quote has a speaker, include the speaker’s name, if possible (see the example below).
3. Write 4-5 sentences explaining why you chose the quotation you did, and how it connects to the chapter.
Example:
“Mockingbirds don’t do one thing but make music for us to enjoy.”
• Miss Maudie Atkinson, To Kill a Mockingbird
I would include this quote in Chapter 9 because the quote is about innocence. Mockingbirds are harmless, and Miss Atkinson feels that things that don’t hurt others should not be hurt themselves. This is perfect for the ninth chapter because Simon represents innocence and purity, as he is depicted as Christ. The same way Christ is sacrificed for humanity and innocent lives are taken in To Kill a Mockingbird, Simon too will suffer. This epigraph foreshadows the events of the chapter and connects to the theme of lost innocence.
