Clarifies ultimate objective in answering the question.
Decide upon core theme or themes.
Select and place in a satisfactory order the points one wishes to make, relating appropriate information and references to art/architecture/design or movements and the cultural context, including economic and political factors together with any related problems or issues of contention.
Provide correct data for all works of art/architecture/design, and artists cited.
Needs: Citation of sources, a bibliography (Five sources, which must include at least three “paper” sources.) ( If you can find online versions of 3 paper books that fine) and it has to address and discuss three artists.
Comparing and contrasting the different papal projects executed by Raphael, Michelangelo and Bramante under Pope Julius II. Discuss the function of their imagery/vision in/for the different spaces. How much, if at all, were the artists constrained by the demands of the various commissions? Why did the papacy considered the need to transform Rome into a beautiful city and centre of art in the early 1500s?
