8) How extensive is the applicant background investigation before entering into this field?
9) What aspect of this career field do professionals often dislike?
10) What are the most positive aspects of work in your field?
11) What courses should I take in college to help me enhance my chances of employment in this field? Is a degree required?
12) How competitive is the job market in this career? Is there any aspect of the field that is easier to get a job now?
13) What are the salaries ranges at the entry level and higher levels?
14) What is the typical career progression in this field?
15) What is the future of the field in terms of new and expanding opportunities?
16) What would be your advice to someone who wants to enter into a career in criminal justice at this time?
Note the interview report is to have a cover page and to be completed in paragraph form, not merely a question and answer format. If you need additional information to complete the length of the assignment, you can add information about the organization for which the interviewee works. On all written assignments quality will be stressed over quantity. Repeat: Do not complete the assignment by handing in a paper in question and answer format. Attach your paper to the Assignments tab in Canvas. Also please note that you may not interview a relative or close friend. If you have a relative or close friend in the criminal justice field, ask them to provide with the name of someone you can interview.
