The purpose of this assignment is to assist you in remembering the summary conviction offences.

This is an individual assignment, everyone must submit his or her own story in the drop box in elearn, on the due date.

Create a story using all 20 of the summary convictions offences listed below.

• The story must contain all of the 20 offences listed below, in no particular order.

• The storyline can be in first person, second person; about you or a group of friends, a fictitious person, character;…. created as a story, a diary entry, news article, a police report;…. written in the past or present pretense….

• Be detailed in how you apply these offences to your story. Give locations where these offences occurred, identify the persons involved and explain how the offences took place. (Do not just list the offences in your story)

• Use the S/C offences accurately in your story. (You can use the criminal code link located in elearn if you need a further description of the offence, so you can apply it property to your storyline.)

• Be cautious not to create in your story an offence that is not a summery conviction offence. ONLY write about S/C offences.

• Highlight each offence in your story with RED ink. -2 Marks if not done!! Example: (prize Fight) If you describe the offence rather than naming it. Highlight a portion of the description relating the S/C offence. Example: (two men agreed to fight and the winner would win $200.00).

• Your story should be a typed, using size 12 Font, and single space. (Your story/events should make some sense in how they flows together)

• Minimum 1 page to a maximum of 2 pages in length. (Use paragraphs, no run on sentences)
