NOTE: in your assignment you should use a range of academic studies including journal articles, official reports and reports of independent research.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING ASSIGNMENTS:
• Essays must be submitted with the appropriate proforma at the lecture in week 7. You should complete the proforma before arriving at the lecture.
• All essays must be submitted to ‘Turnitin’ (JISC electronic plagiarism detection) by 4pm on the day of submission. To do this go to Blackboard Learn for this module, go to ‘assignment’. You will be given instructions from there on how to submit.
• You must keep an additional copy of the essay for yourself and retain the receipt from your proforma after submitting the work.
• Essays that are more than10% under or over the word limit will be penalised.
• Essays must be typed/word processed using 12pt font and 1.5 line spacing.
Hand-written essays will not be accepted.
• The Harvard Referencing System must be used and a reference list must be
provided. (Oxford may be used by Law or Politics students).
• Consult marking criteria for level 5 and proof read your essay prior to
submission.
• Include a title page with your name, degree, essay title and word count
