In your paper discuss:
– The background of the event. What happened, what led up to the event?
– Who (or what company) was doing the sampling? How did they get involved with the project (you may not be able to find this info- that’s ok)
– What contaminant(s) were being sampled for? How did they decide to sample for those particular items?
– Describe in detail the sampling methodologies. Who was being sampled? Did area monitoring occur or was it just personnel? What OSHA/NIOSH methods did they use? What kind of sampling equipment was used? How long were samples running for? How long did the project go on for?
– Where were the samples sent for analysis?
– What regulations or guidelines were results compared to?
– What was the end result of the sampling having been performed? (i.e. better dust control subsequently occurred; OSHA or a similar governing body got involved and fines were given; methods and processes were changed for the better; nothing occurred and it was a futile exercise all for public relations?)
