2. Then, do the same for the video by Oprah: Briefly summarize one example from the Oprah / Dr. Wayne Dyer video that helps you understand the Tao Te Ching. Be sure to connect the ideas in Oprah’s video with a specific passage from the Tao Te Ching.
3. Apply the encyclopedia reading assignment in the same way. Your goal is simply to quote a sentence or two and explain to your professor and classmates how it helps you to understand the text.
NOTE: I welcome quotes or passages that are confusing to you, too! It is good to pull apart information that is supposed to help us, but actually confuses us! In the end, perhaps we will learn its value!
