Distinguishing Pseudoscientific Information

For this task, you will note five instances of pseudoscientific information, five instances of scientific information, and five instances of information that resides outside the purview of science—a total of 15 instances. For each instance of information, use at least three of the criteria offered in the textbook to distinguish between science and pseudoscience. However, do not use the actual examples in the textbook; instead, search for or develop your own examples and apply the criteria from the textbook to determine if these are examples of science or pseudoscience.

Remember, your list of pseudo-scientific information should not include “bad science” or science refuted by later research; include only those instances that meet the criteria for pseudoscience.
