Please research and find a critical text (be it an essay or an excerpt from a book) that discusses documentary photography. Example of other photography related critical texts would be Roland Barthes – Camera Lucinda or Hito Steyerl – In Defense of the Poor Image, etc…
But I would like the text to be focused on documentary photography or even photojournalism.
I would like you to contact me once you find a text so that I can confirm it please, this is an important step.
Then once found, I would like you to write a page summarizing the reading and then another reaction page being critical writing about this text, inferring important information from it, discussing it and so forth. This is masters level paper and it should reflect that.
