How do the intersectionalities of race and gender engage with Mamela Nyamza and Nelisiwe Xaba’s ‘The Last Attitude’ (2015)

Having built up a theoretical framework, i now need to answer the following research question:
How do the intersectionalities of race and gender engage with Mamela Nyamza and Nelisiwe Xaba’s ‘The Last Attitude’ (2015)?

The question needs to take into account the paper’s second and third chapters’ theoretical framework in order to answer the question efficiently as well as support the argument bellow.

Intersectionality is a theory that was birthed initially for the purposes of trying to understand the subordination and exclusionof women of colour from spaces of feminism and anti-discrimination. It is also a lens through which scholars attempted to understand the workings of systems of opression.
The aim of this particular paper is to put forth that intersectionality, specifically the race-gender intersect, can also be used to understand and analyse a physical theatre piece. This chapter aims to explain just how this can be done and further analyse how the race-gender intersect engages with The Last Attitude.

Interviews conducted with the choreographers of the piece also need to be incorporated within the chapter.
Transcripts of the interviews will be provided as well as a link to a previous video interview which also needs to be referenced.

Relevant documents will be uploaded (including an initial proposal of this thesis)

Any further details can be communicated via message.
