Most of the language of the poem is straightforward. look up any words you aren’t familiar with. Pick out a few phrases you reacted to, those with especially effective or interesting dictation, and be prepared to explain why they struck you.

1.REQUEST:
Choose one of the “reflecting on what you’ve read” questions after your poem and respond to it.
At this point, you should be writing DB Posts that are 3-4 paragraphs long and use details, examples, quotes from the text.
Remember that you want to say something original about the poem, in your own words, so reading the posts of classmates who posted before you IS NOT a good idea–it could cause you to repeat their ideas and earn a lower grade or even a zero for “borrowing.”
