2. We want to research the past work done in this field over the last 10yrs (can date back if there isn’t enough data).

3. We are looking for trends over this time frame, current focus of current researches and research gaps for future researchers to explore

4. Areas that affect online purchase behavior could be economy, cultural pre-disposition, education and house hold income etc.

5. Based on the findings of this survey, the researcher might use the research gap discovered as basis of his thesis.

6. Irrespective of (5) above, the survey of past literature should be good enough as a standalone work worthy of publishing in a journal with an impact factor of 2.5 stated in (1) above
