With the introduction of the new general data protection act adopted on the 14th April 2016 and became enforceable on the 25 May 2018. Many organisation have had to rethink the way that they collect information from the people that they deal with in a lawful, fair and transparent manner. This has become the hottest topic for many managers who manage the collection and storage of personal data. The challenge is ensureing that data is being collected lawfuly and used correctly, without operationally stopping the business from functioning. Further manaing the global operation of the business where the sharing information across borders is required.
