Identify one personal goal for your leadership growth and discuss your implementation plan to achieve that goal.
Goal is to either be nurse practitioner, manager or in education(choose one)

 

Options on each were Novice, Advance beginner, Competent, Proficient, Expert and Unable to rate. My results are in red along with additional in for, but feel free to change it if it’s easier for the paper

 

1.Personal and Professional Accountability
  Personal growth and development: Manage through education advancement, continuing education, career planning and annual self-assessment and action plans – [Competent] –I’m advancing my education now by getting my Bachelor, I want to maybe be a nurse practitioner, manager or educator but still not sure
  Practice ethical behavior: Including practice that supports nursing standards and scopes of practice – [Proficient]
  Involvement in professional associations: Including membership and involvement in an appropriate professional association that facilitates networking and professional development– unable to rate] Have not join one yet but plan on joining one
  Achieve certification in an appropriate field/specialty – Unable to rate- I just have a general nursing degree no specialty certification now
2.Career Planning
  Know your role: Understand current job description / requirements and compare those to current level of practice – [Expert]
  Know your future: Plan a career path – [Competent] I’m planning my career path by going back to school but still not sure what I want to do
  Position yourself: Develop a of career path/plan that provides direction while offering flexibility and capacity to adapt to future scenarios – [Competent]. Getting my Bachelor which opens door to management or getting masters etc
