This is for a structural geology class. The topic is pretty general so there are different ways to go with the paper, so long as it is over structures.

A term paper on an approved topic (suggested topics subheadings are contained in each chapter 3-23) (see table of contents V, VI, VII) . References used should be dominantly (90%) original papers from journals articles, not textbooks. The term paper should be at least 12 pages of text (12 font/double spaced – Times Font, 12 pt) + additional pages of figures and referenced captions + bibliography in Geological Society of America Bulletin style. At least 12-15 references of original papers should be included. All material and figures in your papers and reports must be properly referenced or it will be considered plagiarism (see student handbook) and a violation of the academic honesty code.
