USE HEADINGS. Headings are good and break up your paper. Remember this is a scholarly paper using the results of your literature search.
1. Introduce your paper and its objectives – every paper needs an introduction and here you have three main objectives to cover from the marking guide.
2. Define TIC and discuss the evidence from the literature concerning -are there different ideas and definitions for TIC? If so how does your paper position itself amid a variety of ideas? Is the idea of TIC a model or is there evidence to suggest trauma results in mental illness and distress.
3. Outline effective evaluation tools – what does the literature suggest as valid tools to assess for previous trauma? Are they culturally appropriate? Are there self assessment tools? Any tools that could help plan for future care?
4. Consider one aspect of Re-traumatisation (see key points above) and consider how this could be reduced in the clinical setting – choose one point from list and using the literature consider effective ways to plan and prevent re traumatisation
5. Conclude your paper – go back to your introductory objectives and conclude what you found,
6. Provide references in APA 6th edition style.
