Case study 3
You have been commissioned the translation of a lengthy document. The client asks you to translate only the highlighted segments of the 200-page document. After submitting your translation you realise that you failed to translate an annex at the end of one of the highlighted segments.

Case study 4
You have been asked to work with another translator in a big translation project. Once you finish translating each document, you send each other your translated versions for proofreading and editing. Your colleague keeps making subjective style changes and other minor editions you not always agree with. After a couple of weeks, you are finding it annoying and not very productive, as she basically paraphrases what you have translated, but using different words. You are fine about terminology or content-related suggestions.
